3. Button function:

• [ON/OFF] Press the [ON/OFF] button to turn on the meter.
• Press it for 3 seconds to shut off the meter.
• Press it to turn on the backlight.
• [°C/°F] Change temperature unit between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
• [HOLD] Press the [HOLD] button to hold the data.

4. Operations:

• 4-1 Loosen the screws, open battery cover, put the battery on the battery buckle first, then put it into the battery compartment, put on the cover, then the meter starts to work, the backlight lasts for 10 seconds.If no operation within 15 minutes, the meter will automatic shutdown, short press [ON/OFF] button to restart working,long press the [ON/OFF] button 3 seconds to turn off.
• 4-2 Press [°C/°F] change temperature unit between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
• 4-3 Display of comfort degree

• 4-4 Sunlight intensity display area----9 levels: LOW-LOW、LOW+、NOR-、NOR、 NOR+、HGR-、HGR、HGR+
  

• 4-5 Press the [HOLD] button to hold the temperature and humidity value when measuring, and backlight flashes for 10 seconds. Press it again to unlock the HOLD and start new measuring, meanwhile backlight shut off.
• If not press the [HOLD] button for 10 seconds, it will unlock the HOLD automatically 10 seconds later.
• 4-6 Clean the metal probe surface before measuring.
• 4-7 Insert the metal part of the instrument into the moist&soft soil around 100mm deep to measure, make the metal probe surface contact with soil.

5. Attentions:

• 5-1 Please remove the battery to prevent damage caused by battery leakage when it is not used for a long time.
• 5-2 Every time Clean the metal probe surface before measuring.
• 5-3 It can't be used for liquid measure.
• 5-4 For the soil containing stones, bark and debris, please be careful to use them. Use violently will damage the probe and affect the service life of the product.
• 5-5 You'd better not to insert the meter into the soil for a long time (more than half an hour) to avoid the oxidation of the probe surface, which leads to the inaccurate or unstable measurement of the instrument.
• 5-6 If the instrument shows low battery symbol on the LCD, please replace the battery in time.
• 5-7 After test, clean up the dirt or debris on the probe. Keep it dry and apply a protective cap.
• 5-8 Don't use sharp tools, sandpaper or other sharp devices to scraping touch the metal probe parts, which will damage the sensor performance, causing damage.
• 5-9 If the thermometer can't work properly, please take out the battery and put it back after 2 seconds.
• 5-10 Please put the battery to the place appointed by the government after it is used up.
• 5-11 We will not inform separately in case of any changes made to this meter.
